"Oh, shut up!" Sometimes, the best part of my day is when and look in the mirror and declare, "I'm upright, looking down at the grass, I have messy hair and I don't care."
Sometimes I just need a day off from being an adult and I'm okay with this. I look in the mirror and think about how grateful I am to have a mirror. Not everyone has a mirror to look in. Some people are looking up at the grass, never to be lucky enough to see daylight again.
In my mind, has life turned out the way I would like it to? Some parts of my life no. Some parts of my life has. All in all, life is good and that's what I say when I look in the mirror, after 12 noon.
